In this video, crazy Andy serenades Angela to ABBA's Take a Chance on Me. Of course, he does it in his own style- acapella. Haha.
I love this show. Here is another link of Andy singing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3nwnnUMtgE
Love it. Andy is not my favorite character, but I love his singing. He just breaks out into song whenever. Haha. Plus, he sings "The Rainbow Connection." In Pig Latin. Awesome.
About a year ago there was an SNL skit called "Lazy Sunday." Well, I saw this "remake" on The Office and thought it was too great not to share. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdbczhzZV28
You all should watch this show. Michael is awkward and should not be boss. Jim and Pam are adorable. Dwight is Dwight...'nuf said.

Look at what I'm doing and go tell somebody it.
You know what, I actually love LCU. Sure there are plenty of things that anger and annoy me, but for the most part, it is great. There is a young freshman here on campus that has a brain tumor. Sad, yes. Ending there, no. LCU has rallied around this young man and it is just fantastic. It is times like these that you realize LCU is truly like a family. If one of our own is sick, then we do all we can to help. Amazing. Truly great. His name is Jerrod Shelton and he needs our prayers. He is currently in Plano undergoing surgery to remove the tumor, and so far I have not heard if it is cancerous. We had a chapel the other day totally devoted to praying for Jerrod, and the entire auditorium got on their knees and prayed for this young man. Amazing. Truly fantastic, and that is why I love LCU.
Would that have happened if I had gone to Baylor? I almost lived in Waco for four years, instead of Lubbock. I could have been a green and gold bear instead of a red. white, and blue chaparrel.
Speaking of chapel, Mandy and I had the honor and privilege to deliver the chapel address the other day. The reason why this is special is because we were the first females to do chapel. Apparently ever. Daunting. We spoke to like 1,300 people and it was great. I also got to say "You are dismissed." Cheers from the audience. We received a lot of compliments. It was about LST and we think we did a good job and we have already received tons of questions from people who are interested.
I got cousin Lemondrop addicted to The Office. Fabulous! I knew she would love it because I love it. We are basically the same person, only I am two years older. Sucker! So, what was your favorite episode, and who is your favorite character? Just wondering. Also, try 30 Rock, it is also great. Boo-ya!
That was one of my goals: to get people addicted to The Office. Done! I need a new goal. Also, every February LCU does a little show called Master Follies. All of the clubs on campus perform a six minute musical routine and it is always great. Each club performs and it is usually themed. This year a men's social club, Sub-T 16, is doing their theme to The Office. Wow. Can I just say how fantastic this is already going to be? Wow. Patrick is one of those in charge of doing it, and he is going to be Michael. He is going to dye his blonde hair black and grow it out and cut it badly. Haha. I can't wait to see who plays Pam and the other females since they are all guys. Their shows are so funny and random, and they will always sing the Oscar Meyer wiener song. Is February here yet?
I am now a Woman of Destiny. I went on a church retreat in New Mexico and it wad great. I REALLY needed this in my life right now. I was carrying a lot of burdens and it was great to leave them in the mountains. Up there, among the trees and bees are my burdens. Thank you for leaving me.
I'm pretty sure I bombed my British Lit. midterm. The test was 25 short essay questions. The last five dealt with Spenser's The Faerie Queene. Not the point. The point is that I knew this information hands down. I mean, the story had trees that bled, so of course I was intrigued. Plus, I loved the allegory in it. The whole first book is about the Redcrosse knight trying to save Una's parents, who are being held captive by an angry dragon. Awesome. I love dragons. The evil Archimago comes and corrupts Redcrosse and he deserts Una because he feels as if she has failed him. Not! We get to see people in the House of Pride (hell), and then the House of Holiness (heaven). We meet the evil Error and Redcrosse defeats her. We finally meet the dragon and it takes Redcrosee three days to defeat him. Redcrosse and Una get married, but Redcrosse has to go back to The Faerie Queene before they can consumate the marriage. Nothing to it. Typical story right? Yeah, I completely got things mixed up. I confused Error and the dragon and the whole fight. I mean, the dragon took three days to kill! How could I forget that? I mixed up the two Houses, and that was not brilliant. Idiot! I'm pretty sure the professor already thinks I'm an idiot, so whatever. I did, however, answer all twenty-five questions. Boo-ya! I needed massaging hand oil when it was over.
I'm pretty tired. I have a lot of things to do, but I don't want to do any of them. Also, I am going through Target withdrawals. Target, as most of you know, is indeed my favorite store. I buy everything there. Everything. Well, since all the money I make goes to paying bills, I never get to buy anything from Target. I want to go so bad, but if I go I will definitely spend money I don't have. Grrr.
Forget about Wal-Mart! It is no fun!
I put my keyboard on eBay and I am trying to sell it. Free shipping! Go buy it, if you want it, because I really need the money. Do it folks!
I'm pretty much obsessed with writing this story I have in my mind. No tells, my friends, no tells. Only in do time. I need a really good character name. She is a kindergarten teacher who loves teaching, but hates parents and tries to kill them all. Yeah, she's psycho. Psycho I tell ya!
Ich, ni, son, shi, go, yo....see, I can count in Japanese! I love Japan, or as it is known, Nihon des. Watashi wa Jordan des! haha.
If I studied, I could possibly make all A's. Eh, it's not worth it. I'm already into my fourth year, and I'm just ready to get my degree and leave forever. Sure, I love my LCU family, but I have been in school nonstop since I was four. 17 years! Time for a change. Plus, I can finally quit my job at the pet store and find a real job. One that I enjoy and get compensated for. Well, more than what I make now, anyway.
So, until then, I will dream of the day I will walk across that stage and accept my diploma, take a picture with Dr. Jones and leave. Forever. My family will be there and it will be great.
I went to Erin's church this morning and she introduced me to the pastor. He shook my hand, smiled, and talked to Erin. She told him I went to Japan last summer and he looked at me and said "I bet you liked it there because you are taller than everybody there." Wow. Way to say I'm short. I played it off and was like "yeah, it was great looking people at eye-level" or something to that effect. When I am next to my sister, I feel like I am a dwarf. Or she is a giant. She is a whopping five inches (or more) taller than me. Gah!!!!
That is all. Good night.

Charley Patton Songs
"Because you fall in love most often that's what's the matter." I like Jason Mraz. He rhymes words well.
How are you? Oh really? That's cool. No, just sitting here. Yeah, that's great. I totally understand. Alright, I'll see you later. Call me!
I want to develop a language and call it my own. I shall call it....something profound and great. It will be awesome, and it will catch like wildfire and SNL will do a sketch about it. It will be unfunny of course, because, let's face it, it's really gone downhill. I mean it used to be sooo good! My favorite decades of SNL were the 70's and the late 90's early 00's. That just looks wierd.
I wish I was Michael J. Fox. Marty McFly!
The other day at work I sneezed nine times in four hours. It was a good day!
I have come to learn that actions speak louder than words first hand. I realize that somebody is always watching so I need to present myself in a manner that is both socially acceptable yet mature. Doesn't always happen.
I stole a case of water from mom last night only after I drove over there and used her washer and dryer and got a free meal. I mean, come on, I did drive thirty miles to see her, so it was great to steal her water. I also stole Hannah's small barbeque grill that I will probably never use. Thanks, guys!
I dropped Anatomy & Physiology. Here's the deal. If you know me at all then you know that I hate studying...with a passion. On the off chance that I do study it is usually done the night before. Hey, cramming works. Anyway, I studied for about two hours for my A&P test and got a 68 on it. Coincidentally that was the class average. I just did not want my GPA to lower due to a class that I don't really need. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
I'm not superstitious. Just a little stitious.
I know this dude who is an idiot. I mean, he is like a stappler that is missing staples. Idiot.
Not sure why I wrote about him, but I did. Whatever. I'm tired and procrastinating doing work for Mr. (Dr?) Hawley. Long live the Faerie Queene! I like the part with the bleeding trees. Spenser's my dawg, y'all! I actually started reading this one, but of course I did not finish. I mean, professors really expect us to read 60 pages in two days? It's like they want us to do work or something. I don't get it.
Basically I hate being told what to read. The Faerie Queene is a great story, and one I probably would have read eventually, but it's just the idea of someone forcing me to read it. Same with Shakepeare. I mean, I have blooks aplenty containing his fantastic works, yet I don't like being told what to read. Something I need to break out of, I suppose, but I have gotten this far, so I'm sure I'm ok. Or am I?
In response to my default picture (on myspace): no, I did not see a naked guy. I think my face would look far less interested. It would be one of shock, and concern for the poor man running around in his birthday suit. Sort of like the face that I have on now.
No, a naked guy did not just run past me.
Stop asking.
Anybody want a piano? Still? Let me know, I've got connections.
I've been thinking about life lately. No, really? Wow, what a surprise. I know right! Anyway, I feel as if this semester something big is going to happen. I say that now, knowing that the semester is almost half over (really!). Not sure yet, but I have a feeling that it will be up there with having my teeth cleaned and riding in a helicopter. Ok, maybe not the last one. Still, profound nontheless.
Did I spell that right? I wish I had spell checker on this thing. Is spell checker one word or two? How do you spell carrot? I'm so lost. Help me!
I just don't think I'll ever get over you. It's not a bad thing. I miss you daily. Well, mostly at night. My Documents has stories all about you. One day. One day, my dear, I will share them, but for now, they are our secret. Shh.
I might have a second job and that is exciting. I love kids, and my second job will be watching kids while the parents are listening to the preacher preach. Hopefully I can too. It could be like listening to a sports game on the radio.
I'm sure I've babbled on long enough.
To leave you with:
What I'm Watching:

Number of times it took me to spell sentence correctly: three
Number of times I spelt "if" instead of "it": fourteen

Hey Monkey Noodle
Current mood: leafy, yet exquisitely dried out
I need to buy some conditioner. Last night, I had to use Bree's, so thanks Bree! I'm not sure she knows, but now she does.
I made a 73 on my A&P test and the class average was a...73. Boo-ya! I am actually happy with that grade. The labs are not too tough, and I like working with human matter...bones, blood, distilled water, sucrose, gloves. Pretty cool. Not cool- I have to learn all the bones in the body and all the organs and such. Yuck. It's not like I'm ever going to be treating a human being. Now a robot...you never know.
Friday I am doing an article titled "What I'm Watching" and am debating as to whether or not to use The Office or Friday Night Lights. Help! Possibly FNL because I am trying to recruit new viewers. Check it out! Please!
Stress takes time to come to me, but these days I am feeling something similar to stress. I am already getting burnt out before a month into school. *Sighs*
Washing clothes I hate. Honestly. I have to pay like two dollars for a wash and dry. One load! Crazy expensive. I do love the way my clothes smell after they have been washed and basically just stand in my closet and breathe in real hard. If I did drugs, I would do laundry detergent. I would then refuse to go to rehab with the excuse "laundry detergent never hurt anybody!" Maybe would not work.
Tyler and I are going to Dallas next weekend for LST stuff. I will be skipping all my Friday classes. Suckers!
Do you think there will ever be a time when robots and humans can peacefully coexhist? Me too. Honestly.
My thoughts are jumbled and the words flow out like vomit. Not good vomit. Nasty vomit that nobody wants to read. Nobody wants that.
I need a name for a character I am working on. She works all day long painstakenly painting hermit crab shells. Fun job! I imagine her as shy, fun, artistic, and pop culturey. My new word. Deal with it. Suggestions please, to the two people who read my blog. Love you both. Her male counterpart also needs a name. He, however, is not a hermit crab shell painter, but instead is an electronical technician who is trying to get his break by writing catchy jingles for commercials. Read my story, you will find out. Also, all rights reserved. Those who steal my ideas will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Whatever. I miss Japan! I am constantly praying and seeing if I should go again next summer. I really want to, but I also REALLY want to graduate, so that I can live there full time for a bit and teach English.
Now I am thirsty so I will go drink some cranberry juice and sprite. My new favorite. I call it Crite.
For now I leave you with these words of wisdom: I believe vampires are the best golfers in the world and their curse is that they'll never get to show it.

While cooking macaroni and cheese...
School is ahead of me and going full force. Knowing that it is my senior year, there is something in me that does not want to do anything. I guess that is the senioritis talking, but I know that there is no way that I can graduate in May. Grr. This is getting frustrating. Oh well. So, I am taking 17 hours. My classes are as follows: Constitutional Law, Spanish 1, Anatomy and Physiology, Creative Writing, and British Literature. Man, A&P is going to be the death of me. That class is like having to learn a foreign language, and I am alrady taking a foreign language.
What's new. Well, not a heck of a lot. Just working like crazy, schooling like crazy, and missing Jacob like crazy. The usual.
I'm finally in a mood to start writing again. I am not confident in my writing anyway and I think that all of my ideas are useless. Most of the time, I am correct in my assumptions.
I wish life was easier. I wish that when making choices, the correct choice lit up like Times Square, while the wrong choice hides in the back, hiding from the pleasures and cruelties of the world. Things would be much simpler, yet what would we learn. Not a thing. I like challenges, but sometimes I want people to choose for me.
I found out how to make mice. Yes, you heard me correctly. It is an old 1400's recipe that I am dying to try out so my friends can make fun of me. You get a metal bucket and fill it with oats or wheat. Not too specific in that category. Next, pour alcohol over the oats/wheat and place some dirty ad used underwear in the bucket. Seven days later, there should be a mouse in there that you grew. I dare you all to try it. Dorks.
I have quite a few keychains that I use with my apartment and car keys, and I have concluded that I will begin writing a story about my keychains. They all came from Japan so they obviously have to speak Japanese. It will quite possibly be the worst story...ever. "Thank you thank you! You're too kind!"
I get my car tomorrow. Yay! It will be awesome and I am going to start charging people everytime they ride with me. I can make at least a little bit of money.
I am broke. Badly broke. Financially wise, not spirit wise.
I am a television nut, so I am eagerly awaiting the fall premiers. Without a doubt the ones that I will be watching will be: Friday Night Lights, House, The Office, and 30 Rock. Pushing Daisies looks to be good, so I will give it a shot. Shows that I might watch: Heroes, CSI, Grey's Anatomy, and Bones. Hmm...
I need the second half of Friday Night Lights! I cannot afford the ten dollars. Also, The Office and 30 Rock came out on DVD Tuesday and those are must haves. I hate having no money.
I am procrastinating because I do not want to do my British Lit. homework. I also do not want to read Beowulf. Again. High School was a long time ago. Booo!!!
That is all.
For now.
I desperately miss you, dear. Know that.
Dorks.

Hey There Deliah
Hey there folks! How is life where you are? Life here is great. Super hot, but great. It has been a pretty mild summer in Texas (average about 94 degrees) but this past week (well, all of August) has been really hot. Triple degree hot. Wow!
So, Michelle and Keith bought this brand new tv the other day at Best Buy. Hannah was over there babysitting and Michelle wanted me to come over and set up the tv to the VCR, DVD, and satellite. Sure! Hannah called me so I went over there. Well, I went over to set everything up, but there was a problem- the tv would not turn on. Pooey! I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. Sydney, Libby Grace, Carter, and Emmy tried to help me as well. No luck. It was busted. Sorry! Michelle got home and told her the problem, and she was upset, as she should be! It was a display model, but it was working in the store. Something was wrong with it.
I went ahead and stayed until Michelle got home to help out Hannah. It was great! Sydney got out the camera and started taking about a thousand pictures, and then wanted me to sit with her as she looked at them all. Libby Grace wanted a piggy-back ride, but she never said please, so she did not get on my back. Carter and Emmy played in the Dora the Explorer tent. Chandler watched tv on the computer. Sydney memorized my phone number and kept sending me messages from Hannah's phone. It was awesome. She wanted me to spend the night one night, and then she could come over and spend the night at my place. Ok! Deal! Michelle laughed and just said yes. Michelle is awesome. I mean, she has five kids (two ten years old, a five year old, four year old, and almost three year old) and she has the best patience in the world. Amazing. She is my hero. I have never seen her stressed or overworked (she is a Speech Pathologist (teaches people to talk and pronounce things) and a real estate agent). Two jobs! Crazy. She is a great mother and loves those kids with all her heart. Carter was so excited to tell me the books of the Old Testament, and when he got to Ruth he forgot the rest. Not bad for two! Michelle's husband Keith has a great job working for the Texas Department of Transportation and I am pretty sure that he is Boss. Capital B. Big-wig. Whatever you want to call it. The are currently building a giant house right outside of Lubbock sort of in the country. It is closer to the school that the kids go to, so much easier on everybody.
I got a new job! Well, not new in the fact that it is at the same place, but new in the fact that I am now working everyday 10-5 and working in the fish room. It is now my job to keep it clean and organized. I have plenty of chores to do and it is great. I love it. I knew that God would provide, and I am so grateful. I start Monday. Excited, I am. Also, today (Friday) I worked 11 hours and did not sit down much. I was exhausted when I got home.
My grandmother drove up from Houston and is staying with my great grandmother. Nanny had to have a minor back procedure done, so Nanna came just to be with her.
DeeDee attacked me and plucked my eyebrows. Nanny's dog Annie is black as are my eyebrows so we had to pretty much vaccuum the floor when we were finished. What a violent aunt I have.
I fell in love with the game Apples to Apples while in Japan, so I was telling my grandmother about it and she made me go buy the game. Well, gave me money and her car and told me to buy the game. We all played it last night and nobody wanted to stop. It was great!
Today at work I was cleaning the glass in the front of the aquariums and also fixing the lights. Above all the tanks we have flourescent lighting to show off the prettyful fish. Well, one of these lights was just not coming on. I reached under to fix it and totally got shocked. Ouch. It really hurt. My hand was twitching for some time. I made the Boss go back there and fix them, but she too was scared. Oh well. We left it like that the rest of the day.
Around 7:15 this lady came into the store looking for goldfish. Ok, we had several. She needed 22 in individual bags. We did not have 22 goldfish, so I told her we did not have 22 goldfish. She wanted 22 zebra danio's instead. Ok. She was getting married the next day and she wanted the fish as table decoration or something. I did not even pretend to understand. I got a huge bucket, filled it with water and proceeded to catch 22 tiny zebra danio's. Finally, I got them all and proceeded to fill up each bag with a fish. 22 bags later, I was finished. Took a good 25 minutes. It only cost her a little more than seven dollars. Not bad. Congrats!
Before I could even leave the fish room, this one guy wanted 12 zebra danio's, 12 black neon tetras, and 2 cory cats. Got all those together, and just separated species.
Long day at work but it was ok because Loc brought me lunch from Arby's. I was excited. It was delicious.
Hannah and I are going to Lamesa to spend the night with dad before school starts. He has already started two-a-days, but is usually off on Saturdays and Sundays. It will be hard to spend a lot of time with him when the season starts. I need to find out what classes he is going to be teaching. Would be good to know who and what my dad teaches. Haha.
My computer is running out of memory and I have a sneaking suspicion that it is because of the 1,400+ songs in my iTunes library. I do not know what else to do. I will think of something.
I went to Hasting's the other day and bought a few things. Among the things I bought was a book by Michael W. Smith titled "Make Every Moment Count." I have not started reading it yet, but it looks great. If I was to recommend only one of MWS albums, I would tell everybody to get out there and get his "Worship" album. Fantastic stuff. It is a live show, and it is phenomenal.
I just watched the movie "Because I Said So" and it was better than expected. Too cute! It is a story about a single mother and her three daughters. The two oldest have already gotten married, and the mother is putting all the pressure on her youngest daughter (whom the movie focuses on). The mom puts out an ad on the internet, and sets her daughter up with this handsome architect without her daughter knowing what her mother did. Also, this other guy (a hottie musician, who is just adorable!) also starts to date her. She likes the musician better but her mom is pushing the architect on her, so she is dating him only because she wants to please her mom. Craziness insues. Fights erupt. Words left unspoken. Daughter finds out and is dumped by McHottie Musician, and dumps Anal Architect. Loves McHottie Musician. Fall in love, but in the end it is the mom who gets married. It was a cute movie and I recommend it to anybody. Go watch it!
I can now watch movies instantly on NetFlix from my computer. It is pretty great! I love it! I have been doing NetFlix for quite some time now, and it is wonderful. They even lowered the price by two dollars!! Who-hoo!
So, that is about all. Hope all is well with all.
From my new favorite song "Hey There Deliah"
Hey there Delilah
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true
Hey there Delilah
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice it's my disguise
I'm by your side
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me
Hey there Delilah
I know times are getting hard
But just believe me girl
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good
Hey there Delilah
I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars
I'd walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us and we'll just laugh along because we know
That none of them have felt this way
Delilah I can promise you
That by the time we get through
The world will never ever be the same
And you're to blame
Hey there Delilah
You be good and don't you miss me
Two more years and you'll be done with school
And I'll be making history like I do
You'll know it's all because of you
We can do whatever we want to
Hey there Delilah here's to you
This ones for you
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me.

Elephant Love Medley
So, welcome to August. Man, 2007 is really flying by. Fun! So, let me apologize for not posting. The internet on my computer is still not working. Sorry! I am borrowing Bree's for the time being. Apparently there is some sort of firewall on my computer from LCU that I do not know how to get off. Professional help needed!
I always put in a movie before I go to sleep. I just cannot sleep without any sound. Anyway, I put in The Incredibles and I did not even get to the part where Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible get married. I mean, that is a whole ten minutes into the film! I usually last until at least then. Oh well. I woke up to the menu screen. Lately I have been watching Pride and Prejudice (awesome! fantastic! show), Music and Lyrics (great movie), Little Miss Sunshine (cute!!), and Moulin Rouge (singing! dancing! love it!). I love movies in case you have not noticed. Also, High School Musical was on the Disney Channel last week so I watched that one twice. I cannot wait until August 17th! Hopefully I do not have to work.
So, what is new with all of you? Not much with me. My life is utterly boring. Not much to talk (write) about.
I got two job offers the other day that came out of the proverbially blue sky. I applied at the YWCA a few weeks ago to be a camp counselor, but they are no longer hiring. I received a phone call from Shirley Something-Or-Other asking me if I wanted a job as a teacher's assistant at the Shapes Head Start program. It is a school for children not yet in kindergarten, I think. I had to turn her offer down because it conflicted with school and such. I think she thought I was no longer in school. I dunno. Then she called me back a few minutes later and told me that she had another job- being in charge of the after school program. That one I was interested in, but again, conflicted with school. Bummer. I was really hoping to find a second job, but I will have to wait until school starts. I cannot get a job on campus until the first day of school. August 27th. Fun! So, until then I am struggling with my finances. It ok though because I know that God will provide. I have faith.
I am ready for school to start. I know I have mentioned this many times, but it is true. I hate just sitting at home doing nothing. I have no money to do anything anyway.
So, since I am going to be taking a fiction writing class I have been coming up with possible story ideas. None of them any good, of course, because I am not talented. Anyway, here are a few possibilities: A romantic story involving a boring office worker named Jane Austin who meets an electronic-al technician named Henry James. Or, how about one involving an arms dealer named Ardemus. Another about a group of wizards who meet a group of swashbuckling pirates on the high seas. The wizards make the pirates socially acceptable in society while the pirates teach the wizard a thing or two about doing things without the aid of a wand. That one could be promising. I have one final one who is a struggling musician and can only find work creating catchy jingles for commercials. That one can be fun. Hmm. Who knows. That class can be fun. Maybe.
High School Musical 2 in 12 days. Can't wait! I have been watching The Disney Channel and they have been promoting the movie like crazy. Awesome!
I need a new phone. My voicemail is not working at all, the phone freezes up and I have to turn it off and back on, it will just turn off whenever it feels like it, and it forgets to tell me when I have a missed call. Sometimes. The only good thing about it so far is that I have the game Tetris on it and currently I am on level 75 and have 6,920,260 points. That has got to be a world record. It has currently become my addiction. That, and all Michael Buble songs. I wish that this would put the little accent mark over the e, but alas it does not. Sigh. Oh well.
There are certain perks about my job. One good thing are the customers. One bad thing are the customers. See, we have a dillema. I'm pretty sure I misspelt that. Anyway, the other day I was at work and this 4-year old boy named Gabrielle comes in with his parents. Usually when kids walk in they look at the huge fish tank point out Nemo and Dory, run to the other fish tanks, beg their parents to hold a puppy, or just stand at the counter quietly. Well, 4-year old Gabrielle was the exception. They walk in and I say "Can I help you with anything" and Gabrielle just starts talking. He says "Hello, my name is Gabrielle. I am four. How old are you? What is your name? Do you like your job? Look what I found. It's a dinosaur pencil eraser. Somebody just dropped it outside. It's cool. You want to hold it? You have to give it back though. Daddy said I can keep it, but I have to keep it out of my mouth. Mommy and Daddy want to hold a puppy. They do not care which one as long as it is cute. I am not allowed to hold the puppy. Mommy and Daddy told me. I can just pet it. But I do not want to because I have this dinosaur. What should I name him? Who would drop this thing? It is really cool. Do you want to hold it?" Finally, his father started laughing. I just stood there and smiled. Kids like that make my day. His parents apologized, but I told them it was ok. I held his gray dinosaur for a bit and then I went and got them a puppy. It was adorable. Gabrielle just started talking to the puppy and showed him his dinosaur. Finally, they put the puppy back and before they left Gabrielle said "Goodbye. We will probably be back. If I find another dinosaur I will bring him back and let you have him. Thank you. I want to come back and buy some fish for daddy's aquarium." It was the cutest scene. I wanted little Gabrielle to stay and talk forever. He was awesome. We talked for a long time, and I even ignored a few customers because of him. Awesome. Sure enough, they came back and bought some fish. Gabrielle and his dad walk back in and Gabrielle goes "Hi! Remember me? I am Gabrielle. I did not find you another dinosaur, but look at mine! He is cool. Daddy wants to buy five fish. Can I watch you scoop them out of the tank? Daddy lets me watch at home." We went into the back and I got my net and bag ready to scoop the fish. Gabrielle stood next to me the entire time. We wear aprons to protect our clothes and mine is red. Well, I spilt a little water on my apron and Gabrielle wanted to help me clean it up. Adorable! Finally I got the fish into thier separate baggies and let him carry one up to the register. After they paid and left I was sad. I wanted Gabrielle to come back and entertain me. I still hade three hours left. Alas, he did not come back. I love kids like that.
I ran out of gas a little bit ago. I was on my way to drop off something for Bree at her work and I had jut taken the Indiana Ave. exit and I could not go anywhere. I managed to pull into the Buns Over Texas parking lot and called everybody I knew that lived in Lubbock. I got a hold of nobody. Sad. I called my cousin Macy and she brought me a gas tank and it had a little gas in it. You see, the gas gauge on the car that I am driving does not work. At all. I guess I thought I had enough gas to make it to the grocery store. Guess not. Oh well. I was thankful for Macy. Thanks Macy!! I love you!
I have an FM transmitter in my car. It is battery operated and i plug it into my iPod, find a radio station filled with static and I can listen to my iPod in my car through the car speakers. It is a great device. I love it. However, it is not working that great. Probably because I just bought a cheap one, and not a really nice expensive one. When we were going to Dallas for our GO Weekend for LST, Shane and I tried the entire time to fix it. It only worked in the middle of nowhere. If we were in any town, all we got was static. Not fun. Oh well. I am not in my car that much anyway, but I hate for it to silent. I put a few CD's in there and I am not happy. I need a new FM transmitter. Plus, the front passenger side speaker is going out. Not cool. Not cheap.
So, that is about all. I think that everybody who reads this to leave me a comment and tell me you read this. I have been thinking about stopping, but I can't decide. Make my decision for me.
Now is the time to eat ice cream and do some push-ups. Or, should I eat cookies and do some sit-ups? I can't decide. Oh well. Bye for now all of you. Peace.
I always put in a movie before I go to sleep. I just cannot sleep without any sound. Anyway, I put in The Incredibles and I did not even get to the part where Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible get married. I mean, that is a whole ten minutes into the film!
Peace.
